Mina Peher a beautiful, daring and creative primary school teacher, in her thirties, lives in a small town in Serbia, during the dictatorship of Slobodan Milosevic. Unhappy and dissatisfied with life that she leads there, she puts too much expectation on the fall of the regime. Disappointed that the political change did not bring what she expected and also feeling unfulfilled professionally, socially and emotionally, Mina leaves Serbia and moves to Paris.
