Recently-qualified Dr Roy Cartwright takes a temporary post as a locum in an established London practice. Soon, he is falsely accused of the attempted rape of a middle-aged female patientand the practice receptionist, Lilian, warns him that the same thing happened to Dr Markson. Now, Dr Markson is reported to be on holiday; but his body is found in Southampton Water.
